Cheesecake in a jar is such a cute idea for a fun dessert.

I love that you can make cheesecake in a jar in advance and have it ready to serve, in portions, when ready,

Making Cheesecake in a Jar is easier to make than you may expect it to be.

This is a no-bake recipe that also has no eggs in it. Even better, you can sneak in some fruit!

This recipe can be made in healthier version.
You will notice that substitutions will be suggested.
I personally like to sub in food items when I bake to save a bit on the calories etc.
However, this can also mean that taste may suffer as a result.

We will be making a quickie kind of a crust for this cheesecake in a jar recipe.
The crust is such an easy cheat. All you really need is some melted butter and some cookies. You can even use graham crackers. I would even try using butter alternatives. You can even skip the crust if you want to.

What you will definitely need are jars or small glasses to make this in.
Jars are cute and they make for a nice presentation. You can even use them as a party favor for people to take home and enjoy. A basic mason jar would work for this. You can find a decent selection of mason jars on Amazon-4 ounce and other sizes -even with wide-mouths.

- 5.Whipped topping- 1- 8 ounce container

- HOW TO MAKE THIS

- 1. In a bowl, combine together the cookies/graham crackers, 2 tablespoons of sugar and melted butter.

- 2. Place equal amounts of the mixture from step one into the bottom of each jar- even amounts in each, pressing the mixture into place. Set aside.

- 4.Layer your fruit and cheesecake mix from the last step together in each jar to your liking. If you are serving in larger jar you may want to use more layers. A smaller jar may need fewer layers.
