I am a huge fan of peanut butter and I am always looking for fun things to do with it.
Making a peanut butter fudge is one way that I know that I can enjoy peanut butter.

Five Ingredient Peanut Butter Fudge

We seem to go through a lot of peanut butter in my house.

There are so many delicious foods that we can make with peanut butter.

I love that I can put peanut butter in sandwiches, cookies, and a lot of food that I make. Sometimes, peanut butter adds just the needed taste to something special.

The easier the better is what I like when it comes to making something good.
As much as I enjoy making fudge for a simple snack craving or for a quick and tasty dessert, I also like to make fudge during the holiday season. I can give away fudge as gifts or serve it to guests at a holiday inspired gathering. As long as there are no allergies, we can enjoy out peanut butter fudge.

  • 1 cup- Peanut Butter (smooth)
  • 1 tsp- Vanilla Extract

Instructions
*caution, when making this recipe, certain steps may contain instructions that may include hot or very warm ingredients. Please take appropriate precautions.Prep an 8X8 or similar sized baking pan for nonstick. I am a fan of parchment paper. In a microwave-safe bowl covered with microwavable plastic wrap, heat your butter and peanut butter on high for 4 1/2 minutes, stopping to stir twice.Remove from the microwave and stir in your remaining ingredients one at a time. When the ingredients start to harden, pour the mixture into your prepped dish. Cover and refrigerate until firm. Cut into 1-2" squares and serve. You can also make this on the stove by cooking the butter and peanut butter on medium heat, stirring as it cooks, and removing from heat when creamy. Combine with remaining ingredients and follow remaining steps above.

  1. Sounds delicious, but what do you think of the possibility of adding toffee chips to this or sprinkling them on top?

  3. You make it sound really easy, but I fail with fudge. Always turns into soup. I will try this recipe. I love the addition of the nuts, which would add a nice texture.
