We love experimenting with ground turkey.
I have found that I can make about anything with ground turkey that I can with ground beef.

What do you serve this delicious Sloppy Joe style turkey sandwich with?

I like to start with a classic no-frills bun. A simple white or wheat bun works best for me in this wonderful sandwich. The great taste of the Sloppy Joe style sandwich has a lot to do with how this basic bun soaks up the sauce too.

On the side of this sandwich, it seems as if we always see a basic potato chip or fry. I also add a pickle on the side to balance out the colors and the flavors.

  1. These sound so good! I think I would substitute out the green bell pepper for a yellow one. I don't burp them up as much.
