I have always wondered what the difference is between chocolate mousse and chocolate pudding.
Chocolate pudding is what I remember being introduced to as a kid. Chocolate pudding came in a small container that all the cool kids in their lunch bag. Mousse, on the other hand, was something that adults enjoyed.

So, what is the difference between chocolate mousse and chocolate pudding?
I've been told that chocolate mousse and chocolate pudding are actually very similar. The difference between the two is that mousse is 'airier', that is, mouse is less dense that pudding.

I say "fabulous' because if you can enjoy mousse without the sugar, that is pretty fabulous in my opinion. Not to say that this mousse is not fabulous tasting as it really is pretty good.

Some mousse is made with eggs.
This mousse is not. Some people use whipping cream. I use Greek Yogurt however, whipping cream can also be used.

I will be using unflavored unsweetened gelatin and unsweetened cocoa. Also, sugar alternative, such as Splenda, is needed.

This recipe is based upon the Hershey recipe for chocolate mousse.

Obviously, it is the sugar free version.
