Crock Pot Beef Stew

I admit that these days I am not much of a beef eater.

But, when we were invited to a tailgate at a friend's house last week, I was somehow begged into making a crock pot style beef stew.

Crock Pot Beef Stew

Beef stew really is one of the great winter comfort foods.
It's not only hardy, it is kind of like a soup with large veggies thrown in.

The fact that you can place the beef stew ingredients into a crock pot to cook for you makes it even better.

Don't have a crock pot? Check these out on Amazon.

  2. We like our beef stew here at my house . I usually bake mine in the oven. I use fresh celery and carrots and potatoes and onion only plus spices. I have nice brown broth off of my piece of beef.

  13. I love beef stew! It's a perfect meal for a crock pot with the added bonus of being able to use a less expensive cut of beef.

  14. I love beef stew. I think if a little roux was added, it would thicken it right up.
